How This NYC Restaurant Makes 20,000 Dumplings A Week

Before the pandemic, Nom Wah Tea Parlor had two-hour wait times and lines out the door. But come 2020, on its 100th anniversary, the oldest dim sum restaurant in NYC's Chinatown temporarily closed and lost 80% of its business. To survive the pandemic, the team had to get creative. They pivoted to making and delivering frozen dumplings. Today, chefs make 20,000 dumplings a week that are frozen for delivery or pickup or served fresh for takeout. Business Insider visited the historic dumpling spot to see how these pivots have helped save Nom Wah.
Editor's note: At 0:57, the orange chicken is labeled incorrectly. The dish on the far left is chicken feet.

  • Thanks to the tyrant governor and mayor who think they are kings and pass executive order unconstitutional laws and their coward sycophant minions for enforcing it. As Patrick Henry said, may their chains rest lightly upon them and may posterity forget they were our countrymen “

  • Amazing Video. Bitcoin has faced a rather strong resistance after its explosion to the $11,100 highs. At the recent lows, the asset traded as low as $10,300 - around 8% ish below the local highs couple of weeks back. Despite this slight slip and the fact that BTC remains above $14,000, we should all remain bullish on Bitcoin. I think bitcoin could soon move higher to $20,000 in a couple of days. As a crypto trader the past few weeks has recorded immerse benefits all round, my only regret now is not knowing Mr taylor on time, his top notch signals remains the bedrock of the successes recorded in my personal trading portfolio. his trading technics helps me get my profit. i already made $100k with his. investing on cryptocurrencies is now the new source of income for everyone he continues to be an inspiration to all who have been fortunate to have made use of his signals. You all can reach out to him through morgantaylor587@gmail.com or on WhatsApp +1 409 299 3921

I lost counts of the profits I've made so far and I'm grateful. I recommend *Mega Investment and Crystal Legend* greatly for their reliability and trustworthiness. Last year (ALMOST TO THE DAY), I had a great meal, but yes, it was quite expensive for the same meal I could get in New Jersey for 1/2 the cost. I just hope this place never closes, because of the history and what it stands for, for us Chinese-Americans, when most other places have already shut their doors on that same street.

The population there is mostly white. My family has been experiencing some racist people during this pandemic. He cut his losses and moved back to CA.
